Adding a Different Dimension to Healthcare Wearable Space for Better Women Health Management

Movano Health, a pioneer in health technology and maker of the Evie Ring, has officially announced the launch of a new data personalization series, trend tracking, and integration features on the ring’s companion app, features that expand support for women’s wellness journeys.

According to certain reports, the stated development arrives shortly after January’s beta release of EvieAI, which happens to be the first wearable-based virtual wellness assistant built exclusively with training data, provided by medical journals.

Talk about the new development on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the app’s new integration with Apple Health. This translates to how Evie data can now be automatically imported into Apple Health for users to view information from both platforms in one location.

Next up, we have 7 and 30-day trend graphs coming into play. You see, the Evie app is now decked up with an ability to display multi-day graphs that showcase trends for all sleep metrics captured by Evie’s medical-grade sensors, including respiration rate average, resting heart rate, heart rate variability and skin temperature variability plus blood oxygen saturation (Sp02). It also does the same for mood and energy levels that users record in the app’s log.

These graphs, on their part, can help consumers better understand their patterns over time.

Another detail worth a mention here is rooted in the app’s daily basal body temperature logging facility, meaning users can now log their BBT daily as part of their journal activity to aid their cycle tracking efforts.

Not just that, they can also seamlessly map their heart rate. The Evie app, moving forward, will have the means to provide you with a graph, which can show your heart rate at different points throughout the day. This it will do using color-coding indicating hours spent active, inactive and asleep, as well as a list of total hours spent in each state, all leading to easy tracking of daily movement.

Movano Health also took the opportunity here to expand its workout tracking capabilities. Thanks to the given expansion, users can access the ability to manually add a past workout, all while enjoying the means to log workouts as they happen. Thanks to the latter feature, though, users can receive credit for calories burned and active minutes even if they weren’t wearing the ring during exercise.

Rounding up highlights would be a cycle day and phase, documenting menstrual health, added to Daily Summary home screen. This builds upon one-stop value of the home screen, which dynamically displays the user’s activity, steps, calories, sleep, and mood in a single graphic, simplifying the entire mechanism to see progress towards pre-set goals.

“Every new feature we add is designed to help women navigate their wellness journey, whether through more personalization, easier trend analysis, or correlations across multiple metrics to provide insights that can help users optimize their daily routines,” said Tyla Bucher, Chief Marketing Officer at Movano Health. “These latest upgrades represent the most requested enhancements from the Evie community, and we have many others in the pipeline that will continue to enrich the Evie experience.”

Among other mention, we must mention that Evie Ring is priced at $269 with there being no subscription fees whatsoever. Furthermore, the device is eligible for HSA/FSA fund reimbursement. In case that wasn’t enough, it is also compatible with both Apple and Android devices, and is available exclusively at www.eviering.com in gold, rose gold and silver finishes. As for sizes, they range between 5 and 12 at launch, with an optional complimentary sizing kit for those who don’t know their ring size.
