Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), a leading platform for smarter, more resilient supply chains, has officially announced the general availability of three advanced data and AI-powered solutions.
According to certain reports, the stated trinity of solutions will be integrated into GHX’s platform at launch, and it will be largely supported by GHX ResiliencyAI. More on the same would reveal how these capabilities arrive on the scene bearing an ability to help healthcare organizations better anticipate disruption, drive supply chain performance, and more
Markedly enough, GHX’s new solutions will be accessible for more than 35,000 end user customers across the company’s North American network of more than 4,100 providers and 600 suppliers. They will also bolster the intelligent automation prospects cross a platform which already supports more than $220 billion annual supply chain spend.
“The Perfect Order Co-Pilot delivers detailed insights we never anticipated, guiding our monthly strategy with precision,” said Drew Fite, Senior eCommerce Consultant at Roche Diagnostics. “It uncovers opportunities and educates us on improving our Perfect Order Rate, providing immediate, actionable examples that transform our approach.”
Talk about the whole value proposition on a slightly deeper level, we begin from GHX Perfect Order Co-Pilot, which makes generative AI available directly into the Perfect Order Dashboard. The idea behind that is to help teams analyze and act on supply chain data, while simultaneously highlighting areas of improvement.
Next up, we have a GHX Resiliency Center coming into play. The stated center banks upon predictive AI to help anticipate and triage backorders based on clinical and operational impact. Thanks to near real-time visibility into disruptions and smart substitution options access, the innovation makes it possible for provider and supplier teams to respond more quickly and strategically, protecting patient care from supply chain risk.
Another detail worth a mention relates to GHX Dynamic Reporting. This particular facility presents a whole new methodology for users to interact with their supply chain data, accelerating and simplifying the process of uncovering insights that drive smarter decisions.
Complementing the same would be an intuitive, interactive interface, which guides you big time when the agenda is to explore transactions, exceptions, and performance metrics in near real-time so to reveal opportunities for efficiency that were previously hidden.
Among other things, it ought to be acknowledged that these capabilities were co-developed in close collaboration with GHX’s AI Council, Customer Advisory Board, and more than 30 provider and supplier organizations.
As for the future, GHX plans extend generative AI Co-Pilots across a bigger chunk of solutions, including GHX Marketplace, Invoice & Payment and Value Analysis. Although slightly different, in each use case, the solution will automate routine tasks, surface timely insights, and help users focus on patient care.
The company further intends to introduce enhancements for GHX Dynamic Reporting. The said enhancements will be focus on natural language capabilities, enabling users to ask questions and receive data-driven answers in near real-time, and laying an easier pathway to explore performance, uncover trends, and inform decision-making.
Apart from that, company already has an updated version of its GHX Supplier Resiliency Center in the works to give providers and suppliers shared visibility into disruptions and coordinated tools for effective responses, reduced delays, better risk management, and secure patient care.
It also aims to unveil a new machine learning model to forecast invoice payment timelines and flag potential exceptions, empowering suppliers with greater visibility into cash flow and reducing friction in the payment cycle.
Rounding up highlights would be GHX’ plans to launch a Surgical Procedure Card Management solution, which is designed to reduce variation, as well as optimize physician preference cards. The solution in question combines machine learning with OR utilization data and GHX’s clinical device library to help hospitals manage procedure costs, drive standardization, and improve outcomes.
“We’re scaling AI across the healthcare supply chain with purpose, speed and trust, as we work alongside our customers to solve the problems that matter most,” said Vatanka Murphy, President & CEO, GHX. “With GHX Resiliency AI, we’re not just automating tasks – we’re enabling a smarter, faster, more adaptive supply chain that’s built to thrive in uncertainty and help drive better outcomes for patients.”
