New partnership with Mediplexus brings U.S. real-world healthcare data closer to Korean biopharma, medical technology, and AI companies
Minneapolis, Minnesota, 8 October 2026 – OneMedNet is expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific healthcare market after signing an agreement with Mediplexus, a healthcare data company and subsidiary of Korean contract research organization C&R Research. The partnership makes Mediplexus OneMedNet’s 11th channel partner and creates a new distribution route for its U.S.- sourced real-world healthcare data in Korea.
The agreement is designed to connect Korean healthcare innovators with a wider range of medical information that can support research, product development, clinical studies, and artificial intelligence applications. Mediplexus will offer OneMedNet’s U.S. healthcare data alongside its own Korean data, giving customers access to information from different healthcare environments.
This broader data access could be particularly useful for Korean pharmaceutical companies, medical technology businesses, and medical AI developers looking to conduct international research or expand their products into the U.S. market. Mediplexus plans to combine the data with analysis, model validation, regulatory guidance, and market access support.
The partnership will initially run for one year, with the companies planning to expand the relationship in stages. The future expansion could include a broader range of services and geographic markets across the Asia Pacific region.
At the center of OneMedNet’s offering is its iRWD platform, which provides access to large volumes of de-identified healthcare information. The company says its network now covers more than 90 million patient journeys, 270 million studies, and over 2,300 healthcare partner sites. The data includes medical imaging and information from areas such as radiology, cardiology, electroencephalography, and electrocardiography, along with de identified electronic health records.
OneMedNet emphasizes that its information comes directly from healthcare providers rather than secondary data markets. The data is also de-identified at the source, an important consideration for organizations working with sensitive medical information.
The partnership comes at a time when real-world data and real-world evidence are becoming increasingly important across healthcare research. Unlike traditional clinical trial information, real-world data can provide insights from routine healthcare settings. Researchers can use these insights to better understand how medicines, medical devices, and technologies perform among broader patient populations.
Artificial intelligence is also increasing demand for reliable healthcare datasets. Medical AI developers need large and diverse collections of information to train and validate models. Access to data from multiple regions can help companies develop technologies that are better suited to different healthcare environments.
For Korean companies seeking international opportunities, the agreement could provide another pathway toward the U.S. healthcare market. By combining local knowledge from Mediplexus and C&R Research with OneMedNet’s U.S. sourced data, the companies aim to support research and technology development across borders.
The move also strengthens OneMedNet’s broader channel partner strategy. As healthcare organizations increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making, partnerships that connect regional expertise with high-quality healthcare datasets could become an important part of the digital health ecosystem.
For OneMedNet and Mediplexus, the new relationship represents an effort to make healthcare data more useful across markets. Its success will depend on how effectively the companies translate large datasets into practical insights for drug development, medical technology, clinical research, and healthcare AI.
